The Faculty of Orthodox Theology “Dumitru Stăniloae” Iasi
The
State University Al. I. Cuza of Iasi has the oldest Faculty of Orthodox
Tehology in Romania. Our Faculty of Orthodox Theology consider highly
the thoughts and theology of Pr. Dumitru Staniloae, and for this reason
we named the Faculty and Ecumenical Library with his name. The
Ecumenical Library of the Faculty is the biggest library on theology in
the country, holding more than 100,000 books. More in english or romanian.
The Center for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research on Religion and Science
The
Center was officially established by the Senate of the State University
Al. I. Cuza Iasi, in june 2006 as a Center of The Faculty of Orthodox
Theology and has three section for research Systematic Theology, Hard and Natural Sciences, Religious Anthropology, Hermeneutics and Human/Socio Sciences and Religious Ethics, Bioethics and Medical Sciences. more »
